Super regenerative receivers.

I used to make these receivers years ago when I was 12 years old. Now I am ancient, I regret not continuing to make them over the years and so I have resolved to do just that. I want a receiver that I can mount in my hat so as to receive radio stations while I am walking my dog. I would like to try VHF FM as well as AM MW and LW etc. I want to do this before the standard of broadcasting deteriorates altogether to something not worth listening to as is happening now. I know I will get a bit of hash but I am resigned to that. Any help from others would be appreciated. Goodbye for now. Owentechnut
